What do you wish you knew about money growing up?

I never actually understood how credit cards could negatively impact my financial goals as much as they did. As young adults, we're constantly getting marketing materials from all the major credit card companies with shiny credit cards and cashback promises - their practices are so negligent. Happy Money helped me pay down my credit card balances with ease and helped increase my credit score in the meantime. I am so thankful for you guys!

What is one piece of advice you would give to others on their personal finance journey?

Don't ever get a credit card, seriously!

What’s your first financial goal when you become debt free?

Save enough money to buy a bigger home! I was fortunate enough to purchase a nice starter home a few years ago, however, I have now outgrown it and am looking to save some more money to help support that eventual move.

In what way did Happy Money assist you in your personal finance journey?

The Payoff Loan is great - low interest rates and super helpful and responsive support staff. If it wasn't for you all, I would be stuck trying to pay down existing credit card balances that never seem to decrease despite constantly making payments towards them.
